TWO Littlehampton fans hoping to raise more than £1,000 each for a new all-seater stand met up at yesterday’s Isthmian South East clash with Phoenix Sports after walking and running more than 50 miles to be there! Both Golds supporters left their destinations at 8am with Martin Hickman making a sedate 21-mile trek from Brighton Pier to raise funds to upgrade The Sportsfield while Stephen Fryer ran the 36 miles from Portsmouth’s Fratton Park to make the 3pm kick-off.
