HEBBURN Town continued to keep the pressure on at the top of the table with a gutsy single-goal victory over Stocksbridge Park Steels.
It took a moment of individual brilliance to break the deadlock after 50 minutes when Olly Martin cut in from the left-hand side before curling an unstoppable finish into the far corner to give the Hornets the lead.
Stocksbridge’s Ben Townsend was the busier of the two goalkeepers, producing saves from Robbie Spence and Martin to keep the visitors in the game.
