■ A DOUBLE from Brody Robertson fired Cleethorpes to their fourth consecutive win in the East Division.
The first period was very even with chances at a premium. Curtis Bateson came closest to breaking the deadlock for Town, when a curling effort cannoned to safety off a post.
Within five minutes of the restart, the home side did score. Harry Lewis surged down the right and his pinpoint cross was fired into the corner by Robertson.
Newton Aycliffe pressed hard for an equaliser in the closing stages but were caught by a sucker-punch in added time.
