■ STOCKTON Town notched a sixth win from their past seven league games when they ended Grimsby Borough’s own good run.
Michael Dunwell’s men had to wait until after the interval to break through when Kevin Hayes finished with a minimum of fuss at the back post.
They assumed control after 62 minutes when Cam Painter teed up Mikey Roberts and he doubled the hosts’ advantage.
