■SUTTON entertained Cambridge at Coles Lane following on from a good win for new manager Cameron Stuart at secondplaced Bedworth.
Early pressure saw Cambridge force a corner, but Sutton hit back and their attack was finished with a tame Kyle Byrne effort.
A good Sutton attack, in what was proving a tight affair, then ended with Taylor Carter-Byrne hitting a great cross that his namesake Kyle Byrne headed over.
The half ended at 0-0 with Sutton just edging the number of chances.
