LATE goals from Elliot Murray and Kurtis Turner saw Stocksbridge Park Steels hinder Carlton Town’s fine start to the season with a win in a drab encounter at Stoke Lane.
Carlton had the better of the first half and Dean Freeman headed just wide, before Steels’ goalkeeper Ben Townsend made a fine save from an Alex Hardwick free-kick.
Stocksbridge improved after the break and Millers shot-stopper Felix Annan made two fine saves from Luke Rawson.
