WORKINGTON legend Dan Wordsworth has decided to hang up his boots with immediate effect.
A former Carlisle United youngster, Wordsworth, 33, is in his 12th season with the Reds after joining from Kendal Town in 2011.
In that time, the long-serving defender has made 330 appearances, scoring 21 goals. He played his final game against Gainsborough Trinity yesterday.
