CONSETT were decisive victors in the County Durham clash at Newton Aycliffe.
Liam Adamson’s deflected shot allowed Cole Kiernan to fire the hosts ahead from close range in the 13th minute, but Consett swiftly retaliated with a Scott Fenwick header from a corner three minutes later.
In the 41st minute Jake Orrell made it 2-1 to the visitors.
The second half saw Consett gain a stronger foothold, with Ben Ramsey finding Wil Shaw who slotted home on the hour mark.
