WINTERTON hauled themselves out of the relegation zone with victory over bottom club Sheffield FC.
Sheffield started brightly with some early impressive attacking play and a first minute corner should have resulted in a goal.
As the second half started Winterton put their opponents under constant pressure.
Rangers finally broke the deadlock with 15 minutes to go with a well-worked goal finished by Scott Matthews.
