JACK Giddens has set his sights on leading Bishop’s Stortford to National League North safety after being handed the captain’s armband. 
While Mark Hughes was named as the Blues’ new assistant manager last week, goalkeeper Giddens has been confirmed as their new skipper following the departure of Ryan Henshaw.
After making the No.1 jersey his own since joining Bishop’s Stortford three years ago, the 31-year-old says he is honoured to be handed a leadership role by boss Steve Smith.
