RAMSBOTTOM United are into the third round of the FA Vase for the first time in 20 years, and have goalkeeper Kai Calderbank-Park to thank after an emotional rollercoaster at home.
The visitors took the lead midway through the first-half when Matthew Broadle’s teasing cross cannoned off the post to Josh Fraiwald, prodding the ball home.
Less than a minute into the second-half, Ramsbottom had a penalty when goalkeeper Graeme Anderson hacked down Harvey Whyte with skipper Matthew Dudley converting.
