Two goals from Kieran Francis following Dan Smith’s opener and a penalty by skipper Dan Lomas earned Lichfield City a 4-1 win at Newark & Sherwood United and place in the third round for the first time ever.
Also progressing beyond round two for the first time are Walsham le Willows who won 4-0 at Eynesbury Rovers with Jack Brame, Ethan Garcia, Sam Nunn and Charlie Norman finding the net.
