Midweek hidings questions replays

I HAD originally planned to write into The NLP this week to agree with Dom di Paola’s view that FA Cup replays should not be scrapped (NLP, November 12).
But having seen Non-League clubs taken apart by Football League opposition in the first round this week, I’m now not so sure.
I still believe that a cup replay is the least a team deserve for their efforts in earning a draw in the initial tie.
For Non-League clubs in particular, it can prove an absolute godsend.
