ASSISTANT manager Jon Shaw has called on Blyth Spartans to ‘grow up’ and avoid being sucked into the National League North relegation battle over the festive period.
Graham Fenton’s men enjoyed a promising start to the campaign as they looked to move on from three difficult seasons in Non-League’s second tier and were sat in and around the play-off places following a 4-0 home win against Farsley Celtic in early September.
