■WITH LEADERS Congleton Town not having a game and nearest challengers Lichfield City and Highgate United going head-to-head in the FA Vase, there was a chance for others to close the gap.
Darlaston Town did just that, climbing into the top five with a 4-0 win at home to Wolverhampton Casuals. Aaron Bishop’s 23rd minute effort was all that separated them at the break but three goals in the final 15 minutes saw them home.
