■WITH LEADERS Congleton Town not having a game and nearest challengers Lichfield City and Highgate United going head-to-head in the FA Vase, there was a chance for others to close the gap.
Darlaston Town did just that, climbing into the top five with a 4-0 win at home to Wolverhampton Casuals. Aaron Bishop’s 23rd minute effort was all that separated them at the break but three goals in the final 15 minutes saw them home. James Rowland scored the second from the spot before an own goal and Tom Cottam wrapped things up.
