KARL STEPS DOWN

LONG-serving Karl Gormley has stood down as manager of Worcester Raiders.
Popular Gormley quits with the Sixways outfit eighth in the Hellenic League Premier.
Describing him as “more than your average manager”, chairman Steve Harris said: “It’s a very sad day for Worcester Raiders. It’s a decision Karl has not taken lightly and has been thinking about for some time now.
