LONG-SUFFERING Southend United supporters have been given the perfect Christmas present after contracts were formally exchanged for the sale of the crisis club.
The Shrimpers announced just minutes before their game at Kidderminster Harriers that much-maligned owner Ron Martin had handed over the reins to Australian businessman Justin Rees and his consortium.
