MANOR RETREAT: The main stand at Southend Manor’s Southchurch Arena

A VERY rare bird is tempting me down to Essex, so The Fox, Tottenham Tim and I make plans for an early start on Saturday. I now have it all on to pick a few football grounds in the Heybridge area that will be new for each of the ‘Triumvirate of Travellers’.
An hour’s journey leads me to Southend Manor and aftter their Twitter feed suggests it’s ‘game on’ I am soon on my way in The Hoppermobile.
