FEMI SCORES TO GET NEW BOSS DARYL OFF TO FLYER

FEMI Akinwande’s second half strike proved the difference as league leaders Hornchurch beat Cheshunt in Daryl Mc-Mahon’s first game in charge of the Urchins.
Nnamdi Nwachuku’s early effort was blocked by Jack Taylor on his home debut before, at the opposite end, Lennon Peake cut in from the wing and unleashed a fierce effort across goal but narrowly off target.
A long Joe Christou throw into the heart of the box led to an almighty scramble with Akinwande and Tyler Christian-Law both having efforts blocked.
