CHATHAM Town continued their chase of league leaders Hornchurch with a narrow victory at outof-form Whitehawk.
It was the hosts who started the better of the two sides, creating numerous chances but Charlie Walker and Charlie Harris missed good opportunities.
The Hawks probably should have been a goal up going into the break, and Walker’s opportunity from just a few yards out and with the goal gaping was the finest moment of a half commandeered by the Hawks.
