Match Preview: Stotfold v Kings Langley (Saturday, 3pm)

Kings Langley travel looking to secure a first win in seven Southern League Division One – Central games against Stotfold on Saturday.

Kings have lost two and drawn four matches since they last earned three points – against Ware on January 1.

They face a Stotfold side who have won two and drawn three over that time.

With 45 goals in 24 games so far this season, Kings Langley are scoring more than average in the league with 1.9 goals per game. But they are conceding more than average too, letting in 44 goals at a rate of 1.8 per game.

Stotfold, meanwhile, are average scorers, with 1.7 goals per game. They have conceded 1.8 goals per game.

The home team are 13th in the table after 23 games, of which they have won eight and drawn five, earning 29 points.

Kings are five places ahead of Stotfold in eighth, with eight wins and nine draws putting them on 33 points.

Stotfold’s last match was on February 3, a 2-0 loss against Thame United.

Kings Langley lost 2-0 against Biggleswade last time out, also on February 3.
