Gulls and Robins grounded

CANVEY Island had to settle for a draw from a goalless stalemate against ten-man Carshalton Athletic.
The Gulls made a bright opening with Bradley Sach chesting the ball down and volleying wide and Charlie Edwards going close with an ambitious effort from range with Robins keeper Aaron Jones off his line.
The Robins settled and Canvey keeper Sam Jackson had to be sharp to make a block to deny Oluwabunmi Babajide from close range and then make a good reaction save.
