Match Preview: Larkhall Athletic v Frome Town (Wednesday, 7.45pm)

Frome Town visit Larkhall Athletic at the Plain Ham Ground on late Wednesday on the back of three consecutive wins in the Southern League Division One South.

Frome have picked up 12 points from their last six games, and they face a Larkhall side who lost their last match, and have collected 13 points from the last possible 18.

With 56 goals in 25 games so far this season, Frome are the league’s highest scorers with 2.2 goals per game. And they are conceding fewer than average, letting in 34 goals at a rate of 1.4 per game.

Larkhall are also above average scorers, with 1.8 goals per game, compared to a league average of 1.7. They have conceded 1.6 goals per game.

Town are top of the table after 25 games, of which they have won 16 and drawn four, earning 52 points.

Larkhall’s last match was on Saturday, a 5-0 loss against Exmouth.

Frome beat Tavistock 3-1 last time out, also on Saturday.
