TOM DERRY’S 63rd-minute header was enough to decide this grim battle between two teams in the lower reaches of the league.
It was by far the best action in the 90 minutes. Home debutant Francis Mampole cut in from the right hand side and his shot was touched past the near post by visiting goalkeeper Sam Jackson. Eddie Allsopp took the corner and Derry headed home.
