Home needs to be home

THERE are some extraordinary precedents being set currently where neutral grounds are being selected by clubs affected by adverse weather.
Truro City, Taunton Town and FC Halifax Town are playing home games some significant distance away from their bases. It brings into question the integrity of leagues where these games are effectively on “neutral territory”.
Halifax, in Yorkshire, share a tenancy in a stadium with a rugby club, and have now chosen to finish the season playing ‘at home’ in Lancashire. Their supporters must be totally dismayed.
