AFC CROYDON SEE OFF BULLS

COMBINED COUNTIES

SECOND-PLACED Jersey Bulls lost 2-1 at home to AFC Croydon Athletic in the Premier South playoffs.
Michael Phillips headed the visitors in front in the 23rd minute and Bulls top-scorer Lorne Bickley missed a 43rd-minute spot kick. Luke Campbell equalised with a header in the fifth minute of first-half injury time, but a defensive error midway through the second half led to Richard Pingling grabbing the winner as fifth-placed Croydon triumphed 2-1.
