BOSS ELLIOT IS KEY FOR ALLAN

TOM ALLAN paid tribute to Gateshead boss Rob Elliot for sticking with him – and his Heed team-mates for helping him come through injury.
Allan came off the bench and set-up Dajaune Brown’s extra-time leveller that sent the game to a penalty shootout.
Although he missed his own spot-kick to win it, Brown made no mistake and Allan hailed the best feeling of his career.
