WORKSOP Town boss Craig Parry says the decision to sell popular defender Jack Broad-head to Step 4 Belper Town came following an offer the club “couldn’t turn down”.
Broadhead made 119 appearances for the Tigers, scoring 17 goals.
His departure to a lower-ranked club left many fans bemused but explaining the decision, Parry said: “It’s a shame Jack is leaving, but an offer has come in that we just couldn’t turn down.
