Nobby’s at the double for Blyth

NOBBY Solano has continued his summer spending as Blyth Spartans boss by bringing in Michael Woods following the expiration of his contract at South Shields.
The 34-year-old midfielder spent the last two seasons at Mariners Park after helping York City achieve promotion to the National League in 2022. He has also turned out for Harrogate Town, Hartlepool United and Dover Athletic.
Solano has also brought young defender Ben Milburn back to the NPL Premier new-boys from Consett. Milburn, who started his career as an 18-year-old at Spartans, said: “Since the last time I was here...
