FORMER Colchester, Ipswich Town and AFC Wimbledon midfielder Anthony Wordsworth has signed for Maldon & Tiptree as player-coach.
The 35-year-old joins the Jammers following the expiry of his contract at National League South side Chelmsford City.
He now links up with Jammers’ new boss Dave Huzzey as they look to improve on last season’s mid-table finish in Isthmian North. The Jammers have also signed livewire winger Norman Wabo from National League South side Weymouth.
