Hitman Woolley to fire the Blues

LEEK Town have strengthened their squad ahead of their return to the NPL Premier by snapping up experienced striker Joe Woolley.
Woolley has made the switch from Bootle, and has previously played for 1874 Northwich and Kidsgrove. The Blues are delighted to have got him as they say there was ‘a lot of competition for his signature’.
The NPL West champions have also swooped to sign midfielder Ollie Shenton from Chorley. The 26-year-old came through the ranks at Stoke City before moving to the Magpies in 2020. He finished last season on loan at NPL Premier side Warrington...
