STALWART David Davis says Kidderminster Harriers’ ambitions align with his after linking up at Aggborough with boss Phil Brown.

The 33-year-old is a veteran of almost 400 senior career appearances in the Premier League and across the EFL with the likes of Birmingham City and Wolves.

Davis made over 200 of those appearances at Birmingham City where he spent seven years and was most recently at Forest Green Rovers.

“I’m very excited,” Davis said. “The gaffer outlined his plans for the season and they align with everything I want to do. I’m still hungry.

“I’ve been training with the lads for ten days now and they’ve been really good.

“The gaffer has been really good and it feels good to get it over the line.

“Obviously last season wasn’t great for the club but we’re all looking to bounce back and that’s the aim.”

Meanwhile, Harriers have also signed Afghanistan international Maz Kouhyar on a season-long loan from York City.

The 26-year-old former Walsall and Hereford winger has made over 70 appearances for the Minstermen, including 25 in last season’s National League.
