WINGATE & Finchley started the 2024-25 season where the previous one had finished, with a statement win over a highly rated Dulwich Hamlet side.
Wingate finished in the play-off positions last time out and will have aspirations to at least match that after this statement victory.
Ogo Obi put the home side ahead in the fourth minute of his league debut, when he blocked goalkeeper Dillon Barnes’ clearance and gleefully saw the ball roll into the empty net.
