TOMMY WOOD’S early opener for Cheshunt was cancelled out by Aron Pollock as Billericay earned a draw.
The Ambers took the match to their visitors early on and were rewarded when a central free-kick was headed on by captain Jack Thomas and striker Wood was on hand to slot home from close range.
The home side could have made it two as a Nathaniel Orafu run and shot slid just past the post and low crosses from Dernell Wynter turned the visiting defence on a regular basis.
