GOALS from Steve Cawley and Nana Kyei either side of half time saw Potters Bar secure their first home win of the season.
Cawley had a huge chance early on to put the hosts in front with the goalkeeper on the floor but he fired over.
Albert Wood had an unlikely chance to score when he was played in but Hastings keeper Louis Rogers was equal to it.
Davide Rodari had the visitors’ first real chance, turning and shooting from range but his effort went wide of the mark.
