■ THREE first-half goals for Chasetown were enough to keep Avro at bay.
It took 27 minutes for the hosts to post their first goal, which came in the way of a George Cater rocket into a top-right corner.
This was followed up soon after by a Joe Dunne effort that fired past Avro goaleeper Grant Shenton to double the lead in the 35th minute.
Jack Langston further rubbed salt into the wound by scoring his 150th goal for Chasetown just before the half-time interval.
