■BRENTWOOD took an early lead when Daniel Ogunleye controlled a long ball and flicked it over his defender before firing it in. Captain Liam Whipps quickly got the visitors an equaliser from a curling free-kick. Witham doubled their tally before half-time with Josh Osude breaking down the left and firing a low shot past Melvin Minter.
Brentwood were reduced to ten after a controversial second booking for Marlon Agyakwa.
