■ TWO goals in the space of five first-half minutes saw Sporting Khalsa safely through to the next round against NPL Midlands rivals Coventry Sphinx.
After the visitors took control of the play after an even first quarter of the match, Simeon Cobourne swept in the opener as Khalsa caused problems for Sphinx on the home team’s left flank. Sphinx weren’t able to respond and were vulnerable to the excellent Dilano Reid on the Khalsa right, and five minutes later they doubled the lead when
