BY STRANGE coincidence the sides met at this stage of the competition last season when Kidlington triumphed 2-1.
The Greens made the perfect start when they opened up the Exmouth defence for Fraser Allen to calmly score after just two minutes.
Exmouth equalised in the eighth minute following good work by Tom Bath and his slide rule pass was turned home by Ben Griffith.
Griffith was on hand again after 26 minutes when the tenacity of Aarron Denny set him up with a virtual tap-in.
