JACK LANGSTON’S fine strike fired Chasetown into the draw for the next round.
The home side’s fluid passing and aggressive forward play put them in control and went close as Max Chimenes’ powerful header landed on the roof of the net.
The Scholars continued to press, with an impressive passing move leading to a volley from Danny O’Callaghan, only for Bromsgrove goalkeeper Charlie Price to make a routine save.
