BAMBER Bridge progressed to the next round of the trophy after a hard-fought away victory at Guiseley.
The home side nearly took the lead early on when Will Longbottom took a shot from just outside the area. He curled a shot towards the goal that looked to be going in until it crashed back off the crossbar and bounced away to safety.
The visitors’ impressive Adam Dodd worked his way into the area just before the break but his flicked effort was saved by Joe Cracknell.
