ALVECHURCH keeper Ronnie Hollingshead saved a penalty with time running out to secure progression to the next stage.
The visitors celebrated after an all-action second half that concluded with Bart Cybuski’s spot-kick being kept out during added time.
All the goals arrived after the interval with Callum Sullivan putting Church in front, before ex-Spalding striker Dan Sweeney was sent off.
