THE Seagulls kept on flying in the FA Trophy this weekend as Canvey Island edged past Maldon & Tiptree.
Canvey opened the scoring in the seventh minute when a corner from Conor Hubble found Kane Gilbert and he nodded the ball back to Sonny Hart to convert.
Fewer than ten minutes later, the home side were level when a through ball found its way to Kien Connolly to fire into the back of the net.
Just five minutes later, Hubble provided again for Canvey, crossing smartly for Tom Stephen to smash away a superb low effort. The hosts hit a post directly from a corner and...
