■ BIGGLESWADE United blew a two-goal lead yet twice came back from behind in a madcap 5-5 draw with FC Romania.
Liam Smyth got a hat-trick for the home side, taking himself to the top of the Premier Division scoring charts with 11, after Scott Metcalfe had opened United’s account early on. Biggleswade led 2-0 and 3-1 before trailing 4-3, at which point Kev Owusu restored parity again with Smyth the hero after the visitors had moved in front once more.
