A RECORD CROWD BUT ANGELS ARE DELIGHTED

TONBRIDGE ANGELS earned a hard fought victory at Isthmian Premier Cray Wanderers. The match drew a record crowd of 1,222 at the Wands’ new home, Flamingo Park.
The first half was a fairly cagey affair with few chances of note. For Tonbridge Ryan Hanson saw a shot deflected behind for a corner from which he headed wide.
The best chance of the half fell to Tonbridge when Jamie Vincent’s left-wing cross was spilt by Shaun Rowley but the Wands keeper did superbly to block the follow up from Mohammed Dabre.
