THE SEADOGS progressed to the first round with a competent performance, which also brought to an end Chester’s impressive 11-game unbeaten run.
Two goals from man of the match Dom Tear and a penalty via the trusty boot of Richie Bennett put the Yorkshire side firmly into the driving seat.
The main orchestrator of the victory was the impressive Tear, who pulled the strings in midfield and was instrumental in all the positive aspects of the home side’s play.
