THE NEW SAINTS got in the mood for their first Uefa Conference League home game next week by banging in a record equalled 16 goals in their JD Welsh Cup clash with Llangollen Town at Park Hall.
The reigning JD Cymru Premier champions lost their grip on the Welsh Cup against Connah’s Quay Nomads last season, but are obviously up for the challenge this season after hammering home nine goals in the first half.
There were three goals inside the first five minutes. Declan McManus netted two before Danny Redmond finished.
