STUART PEARCE says it was an ‘honour’ to visit a third volunteer to have earned national recognition for his inspirational exploits.
Cheshunt’s Howard Bailey, 61, was crowned one of three Pitching In Volunteers of the Season for his long-term commitment to the Isthmian Premier Division club.
To celebrate his efforts, Bailey was rewarded with a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Dublin for last season’s Europa League final, where he got the chance to play on the Aviva Stadium pitch alongside legends Diego Fo...
