THERE was drama as Macclesfield FC claimed a shoot-out victory at Step 2 side Curzon Ashton.
There was a thrilling finish as Curzon’s Isaac Buckley-Ricketts equalised 45 seconds before the end of the six minutes of added tie to force the spot-kick decider.
And the Silkmen triumphed after netting all five of their kicks while, crucially, Jordan Richards blazed over with Curzon’s fourth penalty.
